Collection: Stainless Steel Hex Head Set Screws
Hex head set screws are threaded all the way up to the head, which is what separates them from hex head bolts with a plain shank. They follow the DIN 933 pattern and go into tapped holes or through a nut where full thread engagement is needed.
Our stainless set screws come in A2 and A4. A2 is equal to 304 stainless and suits general use, including food, dairy and brewery equipment. A4 is equal to 316, contains molybdenum and is the choice for marine and chemical exposure. Sizes run from M3 to M36, lengths from 6 mm to 200 mm.
Use stainless nuts and washers with them so the joint corrodes evenly. For a plain shank bolt, see Stainless Steel Hex Head Bolts.
