Square Section Spring Washers

Spring washers, also called split lock washers, are split rings twisted slightly out of flat. Tightening the nut flattens the washer, which keeps tension on the joint. This range has a square cross section and follows DIN 7980, which is used with socket head cap screws.

Our range runs from M2 to M56 in steel and A2 and A4 stainless, bare, zinc plated or hot dip galvanised. A2 is equal to 304 stainless and suits general use. A4 is equal to 316, contains molybdenum and is the choice for marine and chemical exposure.
