Collection: Shear Nuts
Shear nuts, also called security nuts or break off nuts, have a hex section on top of a smooth cone. The hex snaps off once the nut is tight, leaving a cone that a spanner cannot grip, so the nut is very hard to remove.
Our range runs from M6 to M16, zinc plated or in A2 stainless steel.
They are used on signs, fencing, gates, playground and street equipment. Fit them only where the part will not need to come apart.
