Collection: Low Head Cap Screws
Low head cap screws have a cylindrical head that is noticeably shorter than a standard socket head cap screw. They follow DIN 7984 and are used where headroom is limited, for example in tooling, moulds and machine parts that slide past each other.
Our range comes in grade 8.8 and 10.9, which under ISO 898-1 have nominal tensile strengths of 800 MPa and 1000 MPa. Sizes run from M3 to M16, lengths from 5 mm to 80 mm, in bare, zinc plated and yellow zinc finishes, with hex socket and Torx T20 drives.
For stainless steel, see Stainless Steel Low Head Cap Screws. For a full height head, see Socket Head Cap Screws.
