Imperial Hex Head Set Screws

Hex head set screws are threaded all the way up to the head and go into tapped holes or through a nut where full thread engagement is needed. Imperial set screws are measured in inches and are needed when matching machinery built to inch threads.

Imperial threads come in several forms, including UNC and UNF (Unified coarse and fine) and BSW and BSF (British Standard Whitworth and Fine). Check the thread form as well as the diameter, because they do not interchange.
