Imperial Hex Head Bolts

Hex head bolts have a six sided head and a plain shank under the head, and are used with a nut to clamp parts through clearance holes. Imperial bolts are measured in inches and are needed when you are repairing or matching machinery built to inch threads.

Imperial threads come in several forms, including UNC and UNF (Unified coarse and fine) and BSW and BSF (British Standard Whitworth and Fine). Check the thread form as well as the diameter, because they do not interchange.
