Collection: Hex Head Bolts
Hex head bolts have a six sided head and a plain, unthreaded shank under the head, with the thread starting part way down. They follow the DIN 931 pattern, with ISO 4014 as the related ISO standard, and are used with a nut to clamp parts through clearance holes.
We stock them in High Tensile grade 8.8 and 10.9, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel A2 and A4, and Brass. Pick high tensile for heavy loads, mild steel for general work, and stainless where rust is a concern.
For bolts threaded right up to the head, see Hex Head Set Screws.
