Collection: Countersunk Cap Screws

Countersunk cap screws, also called countersunk socket screws, have a 90 degree cone shaped head with a hex socket drive. They follow DIN 7991 and sit flush with the surface in a countersunk hole, which suits jigs, fixtures, slides and any face that must stay flat.

Our range is grade 10.9, which under ISO 898-1 has a nominal tensile strength of 1000 MPa. Sizes run from M3 to M20, lengths from 6 mm to 120 mm, in zinc plated, bare and hot dip galvanised finishes.

The hole must be countersunk to the right angle for the head to seat properly. For corrosive areas, see Stainless Steel Countersunk Cap Screws.
